A straight and head to head competition is going in-between the smartphone of one leading brand to other leading brand’s smartphone. All brands are trying to achieve the topmost position in the market. One of the famous smartphones of this year is HTC Wildfire S and it was launched in the month of May. Now many other smartphones are hitting the market and ready to give the stiff competition to Wildfire S. One of the recently launched smartphone is Motorola DEFY+. In hardware configuration comparison Motorola DEFY+ is verdict as it has 1GHz TI OMAP 3620 processor, 512MB RAM, 1 GB ROM and 2 GB of inbuilt storage memory. On other side, HTC Wildfire S consists of a 600MHz ARM 11 processor, Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset, 512 MB ROM and 512 MB RAM. Furthermore, both smartphones got a microSD card slot and they supports microSD card up to 32GB. In software configuration comparison there will be a draw in-between Motorola DEFY+ and HTC Wildfire S as both runs on Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread).
In design and construction HTC Wildfire is a step ahead from Motorola DEFY+because it is sleeker in dimensions and lighter in weight. It has dimensions as 101.3 x 59.4 x 12.4 mm and 105 g of weight and on other side, DEFY+ has dimensions as 107 x 59 x 13.4 mm and 118 g of weight. But in Display configuration DEFY+ is winner as it has 3.7 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen display (16M colors, 480 x 854 pixels) and Wildfire S consists of a 3.2 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen display (256K colors, 320 x 480 pixels).
In camera configuration there will be a draw in-between HTC Wildfire and Motorola DEFY+ because both have only one camera i.e. of 5MP. This camera clicks the picture with maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels and supported by feature such as LED flash. In battery comparison DEFY+ is ahead than Wildfire S because of Li-Po 1700 mAh battery and on other hand HTC Wildfire S has Li-Ion 1230 mAh battery. In other features such as connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB) and network supporting capability (GSM 2G and 3G) there will be draw in-between both smartphone. It was all about the comparison between HTC Wildfire S and Motorola DEFY+ and as according to us, Motorola DEFY+ is better than HTC Wildfire S.
